James Charles Springs, age 78, of Pataskala, passed away at home on January 30, 2012. He was born to the late Yancy, Jr. and Evelyn Springs in Florence, SC. James was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, and sister Evelyn. He served proud as in the US Army and later transferred to the US Air Force veteran. James is survived by his children, Debbie Hess, Sherry (Bill) Endicott, Teresa Springs, Karen Springs, Tina (Glen) Tuttle, Jimmy (Marsha) Springs, Denise (Neil) Myer, Jessica Hess; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Louis (Jackie), Ernest, Walter (Paula), and Yancy (Gail) Springs; sister, Patricia Springs. Donald J. MacRae, age 92, of Johnstown, Ohio, passed away on January 28, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born Oct. 5, 1919, to the late Leon A. and Jessie (Shaw) MacRae in Mt. Pleasant, MI. During WWII, he served as a (F/O) glider pilot attached to the 37th Troop Carrier Squadron of the 316th Troop Carrier Group. He participated in the D-Day Invasion of Normandy and the Invasion of Holland. On Oct. 2, 1943, he married Marie Thompson in Lubbock, TX. She preceded him in death on Feb. 17, 2009. He was an independent Petroleum Engineer. He is survived by his children, Jack (Jill) MacRae of Marietta, Ohio, Marilyn Engle of Columbus, Ohio, Kelley (Terry) Quinn of Colleyville, TX, Ellen MacRae of Bexley Ohio, Susan (Tom) Kahler of Upper Arlington, Ohio, Marcia (Tim) Homstad of New Albany Ohio, Michael (Julia) MacRae of Portland, Oregon; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. Military Honors at graveside will be held in Putnam Cemetery in Marietta, Ohio, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's memory to Honor Flight Columbus.

Lynda K. Kish, age 69, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on January 23, 2012, after a long courageous battle with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis at the OSU Ross Heart Center. She was born on June 25, 1942 to the late Al and Beverly (Burkart) Gobert in Columbus. Lynda was a '60 graduate of St. Mary's of the Springs Academy and a long time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Ron Kish; children, Craig (Shana) Kish, Kim Kish; grandchild, Rylan; brothers, Bill Gobert, Dennis Gobert; sisters, Michelle Lieberman, Beth (Joe) Schumacher; nieces, nephews and many friends. Ralph Richard Nosset, age 73, of Whitehall, passed away on January 20, 2012. He was the son to the late Ralph and Mary (Cirby) Nosset and born in Wheeling, WV, December 18, 1938. He was graduated from the Linsly Military Academy. Ralph served from '57-'61 in the US Navy aboard the USS Randolph. He loved taking his kids fishing, going on boat rides, running demolition derby cars at fairs and racing at Columbus Motor Speedway. Ralph is also a Cleveland Browns fan. He is retired from COTA and retired from Groveport-Madison Schools. Ralph leaves behind his wife, Cheryl Nosset; sons, Michael (Misty) Nosset, Curtis Nosset, Ralph Nosset, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Nosset; grandchildren, Logan Nosset, Lauren Ross, Marina Blessing; 2 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Kathryn Easton. Edward G. Joyce, age 72, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on January 8, 2012, surrounded by family. He was born to the late Edward Green and Marguerite (Eing) Joyce on December 21, 1939 in Columbus. Ed graduated from Columbus Academy, Class of '58 and earned his Bachelors from The University of Notre Dame in 1962. He is retired from Westfield Insurance and was a member of Gahanna VFW. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Joyce; daughter, Susan (Austin) Atwood; grandchildren, Audra (Kyle) Mullins, Lauren Joyce, Gabrielle Rullo; great-grandchildren, Maria and Kaiden Eskelson; brother, Michael (Vicky) Joyce; sister-in-law, Susan Joyce; and several nieces & nephews. Greta L. Beckner, age 81, of Reynoldsburg passed away on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011. She
was born July 31, 1930 in Marmet, WV, to the late Aubra and Ellen (Ferrel)
Amey. Greta graduated from James
Madison University in Virginia, and was a member of Violet Baptist Church for
many years. She loved spending
time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed baking and
knitting. Greta is survived by her
grandchildren, Adrienne Eckels and Lindsey Soltis; grandsons-in-law, Tim Eckels
and Corey Amann; great-grandchildren, Mikayla Jewell, Cameron Jewell, Christian
Amann, Brayden Eckels; son-in-law, Jerold Soltis; and her aunt, Virginia
Ritter. In addition to her
parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Soltis; and her
brother, Aubrey Amey. A memorial
