John J. Makuh, II, age 61, of Blacklick, passed away at home surrounded by familyon January 11, 2012. He was born to the late John and Betty (Weir) Makuh on May 11, 1950 in Bayonne, NJ. John served his country proud during Vietnam in the 1st Calvary and will be remembered as a loving father, husband, grandfather & friend. John was a 40-year, master plastic bottle manufacturer. He is also a member of St. Pius X Church. His memory survives by his loving wife, Teresa Makuh; children, Michael (Christine) Makuh; daughter, Aimee Mack; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Ann Makuh, Susan (Mike) Senkeleski; and several nieces & nephews. Friends may call at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Friday, January 13, 2012, from 6 -8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1051 Waggoner Rd., with Monsignor David Funk Officiating. Procession will form at Church. Military Honors and interment will follow in the Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
