Joann Blankenship, age 76, of Canal Winchester, OH, returned to her heavenly home on November 14, 2018. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her through this trying time and ultimately gave her peace. Joann was born September 29, 1942, to the late Robert and Emma (Sneed) Blankenship in Pikeville, KY. Joann was blessed with a large and loving family and is survived by her loving husband, of 59 years, Julius Blankenship; children, Randy (Barb) Blankenship, Ronald (Beth) Blankenship, Tresa (Donald) Durkin, Robbie (Jesse) Blankenship; grandchildren, Randilyn, Makayla, Renee’ (Andy), Ryan, Rylie, Alex, Lizzy; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Juanita, Evelyn, Linda, Jimmy, Roger, Brenden, PJ; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Clinton and Clifford; and sister, Geneva. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is now dancing through heaven with her mother and Creator. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, where her funeral service will follow on Tuesday, at 12:00 PM, with Pastor James Pence officiating.
