Rachel "Renee" Kelly Curtin, age 90, of Pickerington passed away on January 21, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family. Renee was born on June 27, 1927 to the late William and Minnie "Sissy" (Walsh) Kelly in Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland. She came to America to marry the love of her life, Daniel Charles Curtin. Together they created an amazing love story with the silver lining being she is now reunited with Dan and dancing in heaven with all their loved ones. Renee's hobbies were gardening and bowling. She was a member of Eastminister Presbyterian Church and a volunteer for Twig. Renee's true passion was her family here in the US, Ireland and in Canada. Her grandchildren's lives are much richer having her live with the family for the past 20 years. Renee is survived by her son, Robert Curtin; daughter, Karen (Paul) Collinsworth; grandchildren, Graham and Isabel Collinsworth; brother, Winston (Iris) Kelly; sister-in-law, Evelyn Kelly; nieces and nephews, Robert (Helen) Carlisle, Christine (Peter) Ringuette, Steven (Diane) Kelly, Thomas (Joanne) Heaney, many great nieces, nephews and dear friend, Helen Steer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; sisters, Mamie (Tom) Heaney, Vivian (Day) Carlisle; brother, David Kelly and niece, Audrey McNamara. A visitation will be held on SATURDAY, January 27, 2018, from 1 - 2 PM, at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, where her funeral will immediately follow at 2 PM, with Rev. Amy E. House officiating. Burial in the Glen Rest Memorial Estate at a later date.
