Arlayne Phyllis Manring passed away on March 29, 2023, surrounded by loving family. She was born on April 24, 1931 to the late Ferdinand and Pearl (Heckman) Bickerdt in Detroit, Michigan. Arlayne was a graduate of Holy Family High School. She married her love, Charles Manring. She originally worked for Ohio Bell in Columbus, Ohio, then after raising her children, she worked for Anthony Thomas Candies, retiring after almost 20 years. She loved working in her garden, tending to her flowers, but what brought her the most joy, was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also known for her love of camping throughout the U.S. Arlayne was strong in faith, a lifelong member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Arlayne was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Edward and Oscar Bickerdt, and sisters Beverly Bickerdt, and Barbara Jordan.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years--almost 66 by a month; her sons Bill (Therese), Ed, Charlie (Anita), and Tom Manring; her sister Theresa, and brother Larry; 4 grandchildren, Danielle(Jason), Sam(Mason), Zachary (Anupreet), and Nick; 6 great-grandchildren, Max, Dominic, Gianna, Remy, Reece, and Rory; and one on the way. Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family is inviting friends and family for calling hours on MONDAY April 10, 2023 at Pfeifer Funeral Home, 7915 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg from 5 PM to 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1051 S. Waggoner Rd, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 10:30 AM.
