Catherine Louise Word, age 67, of Etna, Ohio, passed away on February 15, 2022 at Mount Carmel East, 6001 E Broad ST Columbus Oh 43213. Catherine was born January 10, 1955 to the late Frank and Molly (Winland) Christner in Buffalo, NY. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Word; daughter, Angie (Brian) Butsko; grandchildren, Stephen, Hailey and Ashton Butsko; brother, Mason Christner; several nieces, nephews and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eli Russell; sister, Cora Mullins; and brother, Jim Christner. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 11 AM - 12 PM at the Hebron Church of the Nazarene, where her funeral will immediately follow at 12Noon, with Pastor Jerry Carpenter officiating.
