It is with great sadness, that the family of Donovan Scott Kennedy, announces his passing after a long and courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease on November 15, 2020 at the age of 49. Donovan was born June 26, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio. Donovan was a gentle giant with a heart of gold, but he was also a prankster and loved to laugh. Donovan loved muscle cars, fishing, movies and music. Donovan is survived by his children, Joshua Kennedy and Kaylee Kennedy; sister, Cori (Phillip) Walker; aunt, Wendy (Carl) Raftery; niece, Devon (Jordan) Hatem; niece, Beth (Ryan) Davis; great nephews, Hudson and Holden Hatem and very special cousin, Joel (Amy) Hubbard and their children, Dakota and Rhiannon Hubbard; and numerous other second and third cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl (Wheatley) Kennedy, his uncle, Steve Wheatley and his maternal grandmother, Margaret (Blizzard) Wheatley DeVault. Out of respect for COVID guidelines, private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donovan’s memory to the HDSA Support Group of Central Ohio.
