Evelyn Marie Tavan

Evelyn Marie Tavan, age 89, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on March 19, 2022, at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Evelyn was born April 9, 1932, to the late Floyd and Bessie Taylor Rosser in New Marshfield, OH. She worked for the Reynoldsburg City Schools as a Safety Patrol Crossing Guard and dedicated many years of service as a School Library Aid at Herbert Mills Elementary. She attended Waterloo High School and was a homemaker in the family home. Evelyn will be remembered fondly as a passionate and caring mother to her family and valued her close friendships.

Evelyn is survived by her loving children, Christy (Denny) Long, James (Cheryl) Tavan, Teresa Dolbier, Brad Tavan; grandchildren, Brian Hansen, Daniel Hansen, Ryan Dolbier, Desirae Vasquez; sister, Helen Brown; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Rosser; and sister, Alberta Russell. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
