Obituary
Jean Elizabeth Fisher, 97, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023. Jean was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 29, 1926 to the late William and Mary (Holtz) Cannon. After graduating high school, she fell in love and married her sweetheart Edward L. Fisher. She raised a family and worked in sales at Sears Roebuck and Company, retiring after many yrs.
She is survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Sarah (Russell) Thompson, Ann Lorenz; her brother, Joseph Cannon; and many nieces & nephews.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life and husband of 50 years, Edward L. Fisher; her daughters, Cynthia Blythe, and Linda Lee Fisher; sisters Juanita (Harold) Beckett; brother, William (Shirley) Cannon; brother-in-law, Tom Lorenz, and sister-in-law, Natalie Cannon.
The family is inviting friends and family for the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret of Cortana on Hague Ave. Columbus, Ohio on FRIDAY May 26, 2023 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Alton Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.
