Jeanne C. (Moomaw) Thomas

Jeanne C. Thomas, age 87 of Canal Winchester, Ohio, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 17, 2023.

Jeanne was born October 13, 1935 to the late Harold D. Moomaw and Narcia A. Minor in
Columbus, OH. She graduated from East High School and attended Capital University. She retired from the Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) after 17 years. She was a woman of faith, who enjoyed singing in the Choir and writing music.

Jeanne is survived by her children; Dave (Becky) Thomas, Julie Gibson, Kelly (Ames) Ressa and Kasey (Bill) Zinn; two grandchildren: Corey (Jessica) Gibson and Kyle (Sarah) Gibson; five great-grandchildren: Kendall, Kylah, Kaylynn, Baz and Luxyn; two siblings: William A. Hopkins and John Michael Hopkins; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patricia A. Wyatt.

A Visitation will be held at the Pfeifer Funeral Home, 7915 East Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH on FRIDAY, February 24, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the Funeral Service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, Ohio at 2:00 PM.
