Mary U (Davis) Hauser

Mary U. Hauser (nee Davis), age 90, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at Mount Carmel Hospital with her loved ones by her side, listening to her favorite music on Monday, January 9, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Virgil J. Hauser; loving mother of Deonna Hauser, Steve (Konnie) Hauser, preceded in death by her daughter Darlene (Mark) McDonnell and son Gary; dearest grandmother of Sara (Tom) Warmuth, Bethany (Jamison) Fee, Adam (Sarah) Hauser, Douglas (Juilenne Williams) Hauser, Caitlin
(Mike Waclo) McDonnell, Colleen McDonnell and Meghan (David) Anderson; dear great-grandmother of Sydney, Wallace, Noah and Clara Fee, Henry and Owen Hauser, David and Dane Williams and Truman, Sumner and Jackson Anderson; aunt and cousin to many.

Mary was born on April 27, 1932, in Metz, WV she was the third of five children born to
the late Thomas F. and Dessie M. (nee McVicker) Davis. In her early years she lived in Fairmont, WV. In 1948 she married Virgil and shortly after they moved to Painesville, OH were they lived until retiring to Spring Hill, FL. Mary loved antiquing, quilting, gardening, and reading. She was also a huge fan of the Cleveland (Indians) Guardians!

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at Pfeifer Funeral Home, 7915 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068 on Saturday, January 14 at 10 A.M.
