Nancy was a great woman indeed and will be missed by many.  She gave true meaning to the phrase, "It takes a village" as anyone who was at the Dixon household knew she expected a high standard, but did so in an elegant manner.  We never knew it at the time, but Gene and Nancy Dixon molded us like our parents by the example they set on how to truly live life to the fullest, but also by making a difference in other people's lives at the same time.  This is the greatest gift she not only gave to me, but many other south-enders during the most important, and impressionable, time of our lives.  Thank you Nancy!  Your spirit lives on in me!  Tom (& Sheryl) Shedlock
