Richard "Rick" Lowell Greene, age 70, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on April 15, 2022 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Rick was born June 11, 1951 to the late Robert and Doris (Rarick) Greene in Columbus. Rick was a proud member of the Brookhaven Class of 1969 where he was active in the marching band and many sports. His love of sports continued into adulthood where he participated in several softball leagues, where he enjoyed hitting numerous home runs as a left handed hitter. Rick worked for many years in the automotive service industry where his love of cars flourished. He could often be found in the garage, tinkering with cars. Rick was a family guy at heart who adored playing with his cats. He loved the simple things in life such as The Ohio State Buckeyes, dad jokes, 50's nostalgia, and desserts. He was very personable and loved telling stories to anyone who would listen. Rick was an all around kind and generous person, always ready to lend a helping hand. To know him was to love him. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 38 years; Linda (Liston) Greene; daughters, Stacie Greene, Katie Greene, Taylor (Patrick) Dillon; son, Corey (Mary) Greene; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas (Anona) Greene, Timothy Greene; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
