Richard Lee “Dick” Mann, age 77, of Etna, entered into Heaven on December 12, 2020 at Mount Carmel East, Columbus, Ohio. Richard was born December 20, 1942 to the late Richard and Bernadine (Pryor) Mann in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Reynoldsburg H.S. and married his high school sweetheart, Mary Broseus. Dick served proudly in the US Army during Vietnam, through the TET offensive. He also worked at Western Electric before and after being drafted, then got into construction at Kuemin Home Remodeling. He and co-worker Matt Miller took over the business and ran it successfully together until retirement. He enjoyed fishing and boating immensely, and in later years got into woodworking and lots of tinkering to "improve" everything he laid his hands on, he was a meticulous craftsman. A regular "MacGyver". At 6'1", he was a gentle giant with a kind disposition. His sweet smile and sparkling blue eyes were what stood out. His memory will live on in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Richard is survived by his daughter, Melissa LaFaber; sister, Tannis (Norval) Dunlap; niece, Deanna (Kevin) Canfield; nephews, Scott and Kevin (Lulu) Clark, Robert (Kathy) Dunlap; brother-in-law, Robert (Judy) Broseus; sister-in-law, Carol (Zollinger) Perry; best friends, Ron (Judy) Chapman and Richard (Nancy) Bussey; other extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Mary (Broseus); sisters, Shirley Dennis and Anita Clark; nieces, Kelly (Clark) Burzcyk and Amanda Burzcyk. A graveside service will be held at Blendon Central Cemetery in Westerville, on SATURDAY, December 19, 2020 at 11:45 with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating.
