Rosemarie Kathleen Gelm-Jones, age 52, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on March 20, 2023 at home surrounded by her close family. Rosemarie was born on July 6, 1970, firstborn daughter to Charles and Kathleen (O'Connor) Gelm in Dayton, Ohio.
She loved caring for children and most recently worked as a nanny with several families in the Columbus area.
Rosemarie was active in so many groups it would be impossible to name them all. She was an avid motorcycle rider who traveled with many groups all over the state and country. Rosemarie had a natural and elegant talent for artistry and enjoyed getting together with family and friends for card making, painting and many other kinds of crafting. She bowled for many years in local leagues and made many friends there. A supportive mother and active volunteer for her boys' passions, she also volunteered with the Reynoldsburg Marching Band, Reynoldsburg FRC Robotics Team, coaching Reynoldsburg Soccer, and at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Sunday School.
Rosemarie is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 32 years, Michael Jones, her sons; Connel Jones, Bretton Jones, and Kedric Jones, her parents; Charles Gelm and Kathleen Gelm, siblings; Jeanette Meyer, Melanie Rousseau, Charles Gelm, Carolyn Ellis, and Michael Gelm, and family spouses; Cassie Jones, Janet Ridenour, Dustin Meyer, Nicholas Rousseau, Susan Gelm, Brandon Ellis and Christy Gelm, and many more aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
Respecting Rosemarie's wishes, she will be cremated. A viewing will be held on MONDAY, April 3, 2023 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Pfeifer Funeral Home, 7915 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. A funeral service will follow on April 5, 2023 starting at 10:00AM at Ascension Catholic Church at 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering, Ohio 45420.
