Stephen Paul Krumlauf

Stephen Paul Krumlauf, age 66, of Marengo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Stephen was born June 11, 1956 to the late Karl and Eloise (Schmeltzer) Krumlauf in Somerset, Ohio.

Stephen was a jokester, he loved to talk, especially about things he loved and was knowledgeable in, including drag racing and cars. Some of his favorite memories were time spent racing at National Trail Raceway in the NHRA Super Stock category. His family said he had very thick skin and never met a stranger. He enjoyed rabbit and raccoon hunting. He had many dogs over the years including his beloved hunting dogs. He was employed with his father and brothers at their family business, Olympic Kitchens for several years. More recently he was a field supervisor with Schottenstein Homes.

Survivors include his daughter, Katie Fields (Jimbo), his mother, Eloise Krumlauf; siblings, Lois Koom, Karl Krumlauf, Jr (Karri), Roger Krumlauf (Gail), Linda Maynard (Craig), Dan Krumlauf (Erica), Lisa Reynolds (Marsha) and Leslie Davids. He also leaves behind several extended family members and a host of friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother-in-laws, Terry Koom and Michael Davids.

Then family will be holding a Celebration of Life at Flanagan's Pub, 3001 Reynoldsburg - New Albany Rd, Blacklick, OH 43004 on SATURDAY July 22, 2023 from 12 PM - 3 PM. Pfeifer Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with Stephen's arrangements.
